I grew up in a rural environment but somehow got trapped in a big city. My cowboy certs are pretty
short. I do volunteer work on trail and road clearing and also paid work in the same area for a large ranch in Central AZ. This is the lifestyle that keeps me sane while working a weekday job in the city.
I get to interact with a lot of cowboys and ranchers, and think they are the last real, true people out there. No superficiality or b.s. attitude like people in any major metro area.
Besides my trail work, I also have two twenty acre mining claims and am also into studying the pioneer history of the area where I work (and there's a lot of it to learn).
I am politically liberal but own guns (go figure!) but don't hunt.... I have a thirteen year old 4x4 pickup that I will never trade, and pretty much am addicted to either classic or alternative rock.

I have always rode horses and loved the rodeo so that is why I feel I am a cowboy. Dressing up to
me isx putting on my best wranglers and cowboy boots and hat for a night on the town. I have always loved cowboys ever since my first Rodeo. I love the way the walk, there mannerism's and the fact that they are all butch men and their is very little sissy's with a cowboy. I have always believed their is no such thing as a bad looking cowboy.
